Review online recipe: Tofu Poke Bowl

The dish name of the recipe I selected is Tofu Poke Bowl. I found from Skinny Taste site https://www.skinnytaste.com/tofu-poke-bowl/. Author of this blog is Gina Homlke. She is the author of five cookbooks. Features of her recipe are delicious, healthy and family -friendly. I chose this recipe because I thought this dish would be delicious and it looks easy to make.

It took me about thirty minutes to read this recipe. I bought the ingredients at "Challenger" on Saturday. I was able to find all the ingredients except Siracha mayo. I used mayonnaise instead of Siracha mayo. The time to marinate the tofu in the sauce was shortened, so the flavor didn't soak in.

The  recipe has three strengths. First, It can be made quickly because all I have to do is cut and mix  a lot of vegetables. Second, since it does not use meat, it can be made without using  fire for a long time. Third, the amount of ingredients is written concretely, so there is no need to worry about the taste becoming unsatisfactory. The recipe has two weaknesses. First, This dish was too salty, so I thought half the amount of seasoning would be just right. Second, The amount of cornstarch was not enough that it was not possible to cover the entire dish so I thought I could make it more delicious by increasing the amount of cornstarch. I thought the completed dish looked vividly and delicious.

There was no written instructions on how to sprinkle cornstarch so I was in trouble. This recipe was helpful and very easy to understand because there were pictures of the finished dish and pictures of all the ingredients. I couldn't find a video on how to cook. I thought it would be easier to make if there was a video so I could understand how to bake and the size of the ingredients.

Considering everything about this recipe, I want to give this recipe 3 out of 5 stars.  I recommend this recipe because this recipe is easy, delicious and packed with protein. I able to learn that  poke bowls are traditional dishes. Poke bowls are normally eaten with rice, accompanied by fish as tuna shrimp, and vegetables. This recipe replaces tuna with tofu and was thought to be cheap and healthy. I would like to use what I learned in this recipe.
